American golfer Brooks Koepka may want to check his phone

15-time major champion Tiger Woods has fronted media for the first time ahead of this week's Open Championship in Northern Ireland, revealing he was keen to touch base with the most in-form golfer in the world.

He says he sent Koepka a text to see if they could play a practice round together but hasn't heard back.

The Open Championship begins tomorrow night.
