    Applications are open for proposals to boost te reo in the education sector


    The Ministry of Education is looking for providers for a nationwide programme.

    Te Ahu o te Reo Maori will improve proficiency and normalise te reo in early learning and schools.

    Secretary for Education, Iona Holsted, says integrating te reo Maori and nga tikanga is vital, but it will take time.
