Skiers and snowboarders are being advised to be up to speed with new changes to Mt Hutt's parking

Skiers and snowboarders are being advised to be up to speed with new changes to Mt Hutt's parking

The ski area is introducing subsidised shuttle services from Christchurch and Rolleston and 'car pool priority days' this winter.

The new system will mean full vehicles will get priority to the base car park.

Ski area manager James McKenzie says they're trying to avoid the early morning rush of vehicles eyeing for the top carpark before it fills up.

He says the more they reduce the number of people needing to be shuttled up, the better.
