    Two boys craving for lollies, has led to the downfall of their crime spree in Hawke's Bay


    On Monday, between midnight and 9am, the teenagers allegedly stole 8 vehicles, attempted to steal 4 others, committed a burglary and an aggravated robbery.

    Police say the boys were caught after threatening a worker at Onekawa dairy with a tyre iron, and stealing ice cream, lollies, tobacco products and a cash drawer.

    The 13 and 14 year old will appear in Napier Youth Court in August.
