    The serious crash unit remains at the scene of a serious crash on the South Island's west coast


    Emergency crews were called to a collision on State Highway 6, between Ross and Ruatapu, near Hokitika last night.

    It's believed there are serious injuries.

    No detour's in place, so motorists are asked to avoid the area.
