    Coastguard will be carrying out dummy exercises to detect currents as the search continues for a missing swimmer in Whangarei Harbour


    An 83-year-old was reported missing on Monday, believed to have been swimming at Onerahi on Sunday.

    Police say he typically swims daily - wearing a wetsuit and pink swim cap.

    They're appealing for dashcam footage from around Beach Road between 8-and-11am on Sunday.
