Health New Zealand says the person recently travelled to Asia, where they are thought to have caught the virus.

They weren't infectious when travelling home.

The person visited Oneroa Four Square on November 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, between 3.15pm and 8.15pm.

They also visited Waiheke's Unichem Pharmacy on November 10.
