    Police say they've caught 27 drivers drink driving - in a pre-Christmas clampdown


    Manawatu Police have been running nightly checkpoints in the lead up to festivities - and have given out 95 fines.

    They say they have no sympathy for drink driving, and are reminding motorists to make the right decisions this Christmas.
