Police believe those involved in a fatal shooting in Lower Hutt are gang affiliated

Police believe those involved in a fatal shooting in Lower Hutt are gang affiliated

39-year-old Albert Enoka, a former Rebels gang president, was shot in Naenae's Seddon Street at about three on Tuesday afternoon.

A manhunt's underway, as Police search for a man around the age of 30, with a large build and facial tattoos.

Detective Inspector John Van Den Heuvel says officers have been conducting reassurance patrols - but this was an isolated incident.

He says they haven't recovered the weapon or found those involved, so there is a level of concern.
