    The Rohit Sharma question's been answered as day one of the fifth cricket test between Australia and India begins in Sydney


    The visiting skipper is NOT in their 11 for the match - replacement captain Jasprit Bumrah saying at the toss that the out-of-form Sharma has decided to rest himself for the fixture.

    Bumrah's won the toss and chosen to bat - India are 11 for 1 - KL Rahul falling to Mitchell Starc.

    Australia have made one change - allrounder Beau Webster named for his test debut in place of Mitchell Marsh.
