Hurricanes coach Clark Laidlaw plans to stick with his recovery plan for All Blacks hooker Asafo Aumua - who's set to miss the Super Rugby Pacific opener against the Crusaders in Christchurch

Hurricanes coach Clark Laidlaw plans to stick with his recovery plan for All Blacks hooker Asafo Aumua - who's set to miss the Super Rugby Pacific opener against the Crusaders in Christchurch

Aumua - who is coming back from foot surgery - is in line to return in week three against the Blues.

Laidlaw says while the hooker's looked good in training, there's no need to rush him onto the field.
