An Auckland man's been sentenced after fraudulently submitting gambling grant applications - seeking a total of 73-thousand-dollars

24-year-old Joshua Gilfedder pleaded guilty to charges of accessing a computer system dishonestly, using forged documents and altering them with intent to deceive.
Two years ago, he accessed Aotearoa Gaming Trust's online grant portal and impersonated two community organisations.
All applications were denied.
Gilfedder will undergo six months home detention.
