Andrew Novak and Ben Griffin are winners on golf's PGA Tour for the first time

Andrew Novak and Ben Griffin are winners on golf's PGA Tour for the first time

The American duo have secured a one shot victory at the Tours' annual teams event in New Orleans.

They carded a one-under par final round to edge Danish twins Nicolai and Rasmus Hojgaard for the title.

For Novak, the win made quick amends for his playoff loss to Justin Thomas at the RBC Heritage tournament in South Carolina a week earlier.

Defending champions Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry dropped into a tie for 12th.
