    A David versus Goliath football battle of epic proportions will take place involving one of New Zealand's own overnight


    Auckland City will meet German giants Bayern Munich in their first match at the FIFA Club World Cup in Cincinnati.

    Auckland have an Opta Stats power ranking of 4948 in the world, with Bayern ranked sixth.

    Striker Ryan De Vries says they're well aware of the challenge ahead.
