    The mother of the Marokopa children was in court on driving charges just hours after her former husband was shot dead


    Open Justice reports Catherine Christey, also known as Cat, was in Te Kuiti District Court on a charge of driving with excess blood alcohol after being stopped by police last month.

    She'll appear in court again next month.
