    A breakthrough result for swimmer Gaby Smith on the opening day of the para world championships in Singapore


    The 19-year-old's earned silver in the 100 metres breaststroke SB9 class.

    Smith was sixth at halfway, before storming home to a personal best.



    Smith's back in the pool tonight for the 200-metre individual medley.
