A new record median house price for Canterbury

The latest REINZ property report shows the region's gone up 3 percent year on year - to sit at an average 720-thousand dollars.

Chief Executive, Lizzy Ryley, says regions vary significantly - and prices have gone down for places like Northland and Hawke's Bay.
