Scott McLaughlin believes race drivers want to drag each other down

Scott McLaughlin believes race drivers want to drag each other down

The Kiwi will enter this weekend's season-ending Supercars event in Newcastle off the back of a barrage of social media flack from rivals.

Brad Jones Racing's Nick Percat has even compared McLaughlin to disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong.

There have been claims McLaughlin's title win will be tarnished after post-race penalties in his Bathurst victory.

McLaughlin says they have to be prepared for anything.
