    He's succeeded in getting the men back on the floor, but New Zealand NBL general manager Justin Nelson isn't done yet


    After overcoming numerous obstacles, the competition gets underway in Auckland tonight with the Nelson Giants and Taranaki Mountainairs squaring off.

    Nelson says now he's switching his focus to getting the women's league running by the end of the year.



    A black basketball and heart will be on the floor of the court for the entire competition in support of the 'Black Lives Matter' movement.
