The Ministry of Education says it's working with Ormiston Primary to address its rapid growth

The Ministry of Education says it's working with Ormiston Primary to address its rapid growth

Students at the Auckland primary school are having to be taught in the staff room, as its roll grows beyond its capacity.

The Acting Head of Infrastructure says the Ministry will deliver six modular classrooms by the end of the year.

Rob Campbell says another four interim classrooms will be ready from term two next year.

He says they'll work with the school to plan further expansion, and meet early next term to update them on this work.
