A nearly 145-thousand-dollar payment - for a former tyre business marketing manager

Bruce Campbell worked for Christchurch's Value Tyres from June 2016 until his position was disestablished in August last year.
He told the Employment Relations Authority the process was engineered to remove him from his 170-thousand-dollar a year position -- and replace him.
The ERA found Campbell was unjustifiably dismissed -- and ordered the company pay him just over 118-thousand-dollars in lost wages and 25-thousand for 'hurt and humiliation'.
