The American has seen off compatriot Justin Thomas and Spaniard Jon Rahm, with a final round seven-under 65 to finish 23-under.

Thomas could only manage a three-under day, slipping from his overnight lead, while Rahm carded a four-under final round.

Danny Lee finished with his best round of the week, signing for a three-under 69 to end 1-under and a share of 72nd.

Meanwhile, Lydia Ko claimed her 81st career top-ten with a share of eighth at the LPGA tournament in Georgia.
