A welcome rush of festival goers for a regional city

A welcome rush of festival goers for a regional city

With more than 11-thousand tickets sold, the Bay Dreams music festival will open its gates in Nelson's Trafalgar Park today.

Nelson City Council deputy mayor Judene Edgar says the event is a much needed injection for the city's economy after a challenging 2020.

She says anything that's positive and supports the city's business industry is welcome.
