    Fonterra is buying back 50 million dollars' worth of its own shares

    It says the prevailing price has undervalued Fonterra shares, particularly since late April.

    Chief Executive Miles Hurrell says this move has a double goal.

    He says the level they're starting to see now is a good opportunity to create value for all shareholders, but the move also signals their confidence in where the organisation is going.
