Frantic efforts to re-book flights to Wellington

Fog disrupted yesterday's travel plans for hundreds of people, trying to get in and out of Wellington.

At least 35 flights have been affected.

Newstalk ZB's Azaria Howell was on board one flight from Auckland to Wellington, that was forced to turn around.

She says it had flown all the way to Wellington but couldn't land, so had to fly all the way back to Auckland.

Air New Zealand says today's flights are already very full, so travellers' re-bookiing options may be limited.
