A stern message from Police that unruly behaviour on a gang funeral procession won't be tolerated

The procession is for revered Head Hunter the late William Hines, and is heading to Foxton, north of Wellington.

It's due to arrive at around 7 tonight.

Assistant Police Commissioner Mike Johnson says they are acting on any unlawful activity reported to them by the public on the 10-5 line.

He says they would like video or photographic evidence when anyone makes a report.

Mr Johnson says if anyone finds themselves in an unsafe position in connection to the procession, they should call 111.
