An Auckland principal says the rollout of NCEA changes has so far been an appalling process

An Auckland principal says the rollout of NCEA changes has so far been an appalling process

Education Minister Erica Stanford's today announced Level 2 and Level 3 changes have been delayed two years -- to allow time for them to be reviewed.

Auckland Grammar's Tim O'Connor says expectations for this year's level 1 changes were poorly communicated -- and he's ecstatic about today's announcement.

He says it's good she's not only planning to review NCEA as it is, but also look into the methods of external assessment.
