    Southland's Mayor says the community of Riverton is grieving after a fatal boating incident


    Emergency services were called to the Pourakino River Mouth after a boat capsized yesterday afternoon.

    Two people were pulled from the water alive - three died.

    Mayor Rob Scott says it's going to have a huge impact - as they're a tight knit community.
