An 83-year-old man an InterCity bus left in Kaikoura after he fell - says the company hasn't contacted him

Barry Gardiner was travelling from Christchurch to Nelson on Friday, and fell, during a food stop.

He says he landed in a ditch, and the bus driver told him he wasn't allowed back on the bus.

An InterCity spokesperson has apologised, saying Gardiner will be offered a full refund, but he says he's heard nothing.

    InterCity's been approached for comment.
