Swimmer Cameron Leslie is staying optimistic despite missing out on a medal in the men's S4 50-metre freestyle final at the Paralympics in Paris

Swimmer Cameron Leslie is staying optimistic despite missing out on a medal in the men's S4 50-metre freestyle final at the Paralympics in Paris

    The 34-year-old finished fourth in a time of 37.24 seconds - a season's best.

Leslie says the effort gives him confidence for his final event this evening, the men's S4 50-metre backstroke.

Para-athlete Anna Grimaldi also fell short of the podium with a fourth place finish in the women's T47 long jump final.
