Hamilton-based vertical farming business Greenleaf Fresh, has gone into voluntary administration

Hamilton-based vertical farming business Greenleaf Fresh, has gone into voluntary administration

The company - which was established in 2017 under trading name Greengrower - claims its growing techniques are evidence-based and sustainable.

Adele Hicks and David Ruscoe, of Grant Thornton, have been appointed administrators by resolution of the company's directors.

Grant Thornton says the decision follows recent financial challenges - impacting the company's operations.

It says it's aiming to protect employee and creditor interests - while working towards a future for the business.
