41-year-old Dan Christian has come out of retirement and to the rescue of the Aussie Big Bash's injury-hit Sydney Thunder

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

The ex-Australian allrounder last played professionally for the Sydney Sixers two summers ago and has since served as an assistant coach at the Thunder.

Christian's comeback follows injuries to Daniel Sams and Cameron Bancroft, both sidelined after a horror collision in the field last week in a match against Perth.
