    Tragedy in the small rural Waikato community of Ngahinapouri, southwest of Hamilton, with two separate fatal car crashes


    Emergency services were told of a single vehicle crash on Oregan Road, before 8pm last night.

    One person died at the scene and a second person was seriously injured.

    Earlier in the day, only around six kilometres away another single-vehicle collision on Kakaramea Road - State Highway 39, left one person dead.
