A Blenheim man who murdered his mother has been sentenced to life imprisonment

A Blenheim man who murdered his mother has been sentenced to life imprisonment

Jennifer Sheehan was found dead at a Muller Road address in November.

Her son, Paul Armon, was arrested soon afterwards - and pleaded guilty to murder in April.

He's been sentenced today to life in prison, with a minimum 15 years before being eligible for parole.

Police have acknowledged the sentence - and are thanking the public for assisting with last year's investigation.
