Megan Thee Stallion has praised Klay Thompson as the "nicest person" she has ever met

She gushed to People magazine: "Oh, we met and it was such a meet cute it was like a f****** movie.

"I won't tell you how and I won't tell you when, but it was a movie that he's the nicest person I've ever met in my life."

The Hot Girl Summer singer has never been so happy in a relationship before.

She told the New York Post newspaper's Page Six column: "I have never dated somebody so kind.

"This is my first relationship where I've ever been with somebody who's genuinely a nice person, and he makes me genuinely happy.

"I just never dated somebody like him before and I'm just grateful that he's here by my side and he feels the same way about me."

The gala was held to "provide resources to effect meaningful and positive change in the lives of women and children, senior citizens, and underserved communities" and Meghan's foundation is named after her late parents, Joseph Pete III and Holly Thomas, with the WAP hitmaker believing she has made her ancestors "super proud".

She told People: "I feel like they can see what I'm doing right now.

"I feel like they're looking down on me from heaven, and I feel like they're like, 'Yes, daughter!' I feel like my momma's so happy.

"I feel like she is clapping. I feel like my great-grandma is so happy. I feel like my daddy is like, 'this is exactly what I knew my child was gonna do.' I feel like they're super proud,"

Fans speculated that Megan was dating Klay, 35, earlier this month when she featured the Dallas Mavericks player on her Instagram.

The Captain Hook rapper shared a photo on 9 July in which she sat on the ledge of a hot tub, with the sportsman soaking up the sun in the far left corner. She simply captioned the post with palm tree and plane emojis.

One fan commented: "Do we not realize klay Thompson in the back (sic)"

Another added: Look out klay.(sic)"

And a third person posted: "My guy Klay Thompson still shooting and not missing.(sic)"
