A convicted murderer who committed sex crimes while on parole, is back in jail after loitering in a Dunedin park

A convicted murderer who committed sex crimes while on parole, is back in jail after loitering in a Dunedin park

The ODT reports Anthony Weke Tuimata appeared in court this month, and was convicted and discharged after admitting breaching parole.

The 69-year-old murdered his estranged wife in 1988, and has committed crimes such as attempted rape and doing indecent acts on a girl under 16 since.

He was released from prison in October, and found to breach his parole conditions of loitering in a park in June.

Tuimata will have another Parole hearing in November.
