    A mobility scooter rider's been taken to hospital after crashing off the road and into the water in Tauranga


    Emergency services were called about 2.30 that the scooter had gone into the water off Chapel Street.

    An older man was taken to hospital in a moderate condition for cuts to his hand, foot and head.
