    Auckland Mayor Wayne Brown says an events funds is a good start but not a long term solution


    The Government is putting 40-million dollars into securing major international events as part of a larger 70-million dollar tourism fund.

    Brown says a more sustainable option would be the bed night levy he's been pushing for.
