Surprise pole-sitter George Russell has had a sneaky dig at McLaren for underperforming in qualifying for Formula One's Singapore Grand Prix

The Mercedes driver will have Red Bull's Max Verstappen beside him on the front row tomorrow morning - with championship leader Oscar Piastri third and Lando Norris fifth on the grid.

Russell was stunned to set a new track record.

Liam Lawson's been elevated to 12 on the grid after both Williams cars were relegated after breaking technical rules during qualifying.
