Epstein email says Andrew had photo taken with accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre

The former prince has repeatedly denied ever meeting Ms Roberts Giuffre, including during an infamous interview with the BBC in 2019.

An email from convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein appears to confirm that former prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was photographed with his accuser, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, despite his repeated denials.

Epstein — who allegedly took the photo — sent the email, which contains multiple spelling mistakes, in July 2011.

"Yes, she was on my plane, and yes, she had her picture taken with Andrew, as many of my employees have", the email read.

It was sent after The Mail on Sunday first published the photograph in March that year.

Epstein's account contradicted the former prince's assertion that he never met Ms Roberts Giuffre, and his long-standing suggestion that the photo was doctored.

Ms Roberts Giuffre, who died by suicide earlier this year, alleged Mr Mountbatten-Windsor had sex with her three times as a teenager.

Mr Mountbatten-Windsor has always denied the allegations.

He reached an out-of-court settlement with Ms Roberts Giuffre in 2022, but it contained neither an admission of liability nor an apology.

The error-ridden email accused Ms Roberts Guiffre of having no credibility.

"This girl fled the country with an outstanding arrest warrant.

"The da after she accused others… she had no credibility, she was never 15 years old working for me, her story made it seem like she first worked for trump at that age and was met by ghislaine maxwell. total horseshit,, the daily mail paid her," it read.

"his [sic] girl is a total liar, they authorities should check her austrailain immigration form you could talk to dershowitz."

In a 2019 interview with BBC Newsnight, Mr Mountbatten-Windsor said he did not recall ever meeting Ms Roberts Giuffre and suggested that the photo may have been faked.

The email was contained within more than 20,000 new documents published by United States Democrats in the House Oversight Committee, which also reveal Epstein's attempts to discredit Ms Roberts Giuffre.

In a separate email to his publicist Peggy Siegal on July 1, 2011, Epstein said: "he [sic] girl who accused Prince Andrew can easily be proven a liar. I think Buckingham Palace would love it. You should task someone to investigate the girl, that has caused the Queens son all this agro."

The trove of documents also show the former prince was in contact with Epstein months after he claimed their relationship had ended.

Using an email address titled "The Duke", the correspondence of March 2011 was in response to a list of questions sent by a reporter from the British tabloid The Mail on Sunday.

The queries included the allegation that the then-prince had sex with Ms Roberts Giuffre in a London house in 2001.

The former prince responded to the list of questions by instructing Epstein to ensure a strong denial was sent to the newspaper.

"Please make sure that every statement or legal letter states clearly that I am NOT involved and that I knew and know NOTHING about any of these allegations," the message states.

"I can't take any more of this, my end."

Epstein responded to Mr Mountbatten-Windsor several hours later, again containing multiple spelling mistakes.

"Just got it two minutes ago … I ye asked g [Ghislaine Maxwell] lawyers to send a letter. Not sure, it is so salcisous and ridiculous, I'm not sure how to respond," he said.

"The only person she didn't have sex with was Elvis."

Other evidence has since emerged that contradicts Mr Mountbatten-Windsor's insistence that he broke off contact with Epstein in 2010.

Last month, The Mail on Sunday revealed another email exchange between the former prince and Epstein where Mr Mountbatten-Windsor declared the pair "are in this together".

The Mail emails from February 2011 also revealed he told Epstein to "keep in close touch" and hoped that they would "play some more soon".

Mr Mountbatten-Windsor's ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, was also found to have continued contact with Epstein in 2011, describing him in an email as a "steadfast, generous and supreme friend to me and my family".

Late last month Mr Mountbatten-Windsor was stripped of his prince title by his brother, King Charles, and ordered to leave the royal lodge.

He continues to deny the allegations made by the late Ms Roberts Giuffre.
