    Two of the rising stars of tennis have caused stunning upsets on day one of the French Open in Paris


    18 year old Italian Jannik Sinner has crushed Belgian 11th seed David Goffin in straight sets while 16 year old American Coco Gauff has knocked out British 9th seed Johanna Konta in the women's draw.

    Sinner says the conditions were tricky.



    Men's defending champion Rafael; Nadal, US Open champ Dominic Thiem and Serena Williams all begin their campaigns tonight.
