A teenager is expected to appear in Auckland Youth Court today - the second person accused of murdering US student Kyle Whorrall in April

A teenager is expected to appear in Auckland Youth Court today - the second person accused of murdering US student Kyle Whorrall in April

The 33-year-old was fatally attacked at a bus-stop in Auckland's Meadowbank.

One 17-year-old already has a trial date next year - after pleading not-guilty in May - to murder and aggravated robbery.

Detective Inspector Glenn Baldwin says a renewed police focus has resulted in charges against the second teen.

A 33-year-old woman pleaded not-guilty this year to two counts of being an accessory after the fact to murder.
