Drivers on Auckland's North Shore are being advised to stay alert this weekend, if travelling to Rosedale

Drivers on Auckland's North Shore are being advised to stay alert this weekend, if travelling to Rosedale

The new Paul Matthews Rd opened overnight, as part of the Northern Corridor Improvements project.

It will join the State Highway 18 Caribbean Drive intersection.

To access Paul Matthews Rd and the Rosedale industrial area, motorists must turn right much earlier on State Highway 18 westbound.

NZTA's Andrew Thackwray says people should allow extra time while they get used to the new layout.
