    A Christchurch man accused of killing his flatmate --- could stand trial next year


    Michael Joseph Graham, was found dead at a house on England St, Linwood, on January 3.

    His flatmate, Nathan Ihaka Te Hana, has appeared in the Christchurch High Court this morning, charged with murder.

    Te Hana's lawyer today asked for a further short adjournment before pleas will be taken.

    If the charges are to be defended, a likely trial will begin on May 2, next year.
