    Two men have been arrested after a failed home invasion in the East Auckland suburb of Howick


    Residents living in a home in Point View Drive were forced to escape their property after their power was cut and they heard smashing glass.

    Police arrested two men who they found hiding in the kitchen.

    A 32 year old man is now facing a burglary charge while his 17 year old accomplice is being referred to Youth Aid.
