    One of New Zealand's sporting power couples will do it alone early next year


    All Black lock Patrick Tuipulotu will head to Japan to take up a deal with Toyota Verblitz, before returning to New Zealand Rugby after the Super Rugby season.

    Meanwhile former Silver Fern Phoenix Karaka will mix looking after their young child and making a comeback in the ANZ Premiership.

    Tuipulotu says it will be a tough few months.
