It's a decision that should be left to the board

It's a decision that should be left to the board

A year 13 Macleans College student was expelled in 2019 after telling a teacher to "F off".

An Ombudsman has since ruled the behaviour was not gross misconduct and requested the school apologise.

School Trustees Association president Lorraine Kerr says it's always up to the board... no matter the situation.

She says whatever goes on in the school is their business, whether it has unintended consequences or not.
