    The skies will be relatively quiet today as Alert level 4 continues


    Air travel is limited to essential workers and stranded holidaymakers given an extra 24 hours to get home from Queenstown.

    Air New Zealand Chief Executive Greg Foran says they normally operate 450 flights per day.

    He says today that drops down to 14 normal sectors, and seven extra ones to get out of Queenstown.
