    A woman has suffered life-threatening injuries in an accident on a flying fox


    The Auckland Westpac Rescue Helicopter was sent just after 7 last night to Shelly Beach on the Kaipara Harbour.

    The woman in her 30s was flown to Auckland City Hospital in a critical condition.

    St John says the accident happened in a paddock -- and the woman suffered critical injuries.
