Queenstown Events Centre in Frankton has been identified as a Covid-19 location of interest

Queenstown Events Centre in Frankton has been identified as a Covid-19 location of interest

Queenstown Lakes District Council says it first learned of this yesterday afternoon and it's linked to the Covid-19 case announced yesterday and included in today's numbers.

The case visited the event centre's Alpine Health and Fitness gym on Tuesday between 6.30 and 11pm.

Anyone who was at the gym is considered a close contact while anyone who visited other facilities at the centre is a casual contact.

Queenstown Airport's Air New Zealand Lounge is also a close contact location of interest on Tuesday between 7.14 and 9.45am.
